Sound Styles of Assiri Poetry in the Light of Bally
This research entitled (Sound Styles of Assiri Poetry in the Light of Bally) is an attempt to analyze and present the phonetic patterns of language in Assiri poetry. In general, sound is the most important component of poetic language that creates an effect. The formation of each sound in the poetic text in general and in (Assiri’s poems) in particular has phonetic and expressing\self-expressing values. At the phonetic level, each language has its own phonetic rules, which are due to the diversity of geography and the development of linguistic classes, the poet’s own language\idiolect has its own role and effect in the formation of the phonetic patterns and phonological rules. Through these phonetic patterns and aspects, the poet expresses his feelings, and the repetition of each sound is to express the poet’s inner feelings, at the same time it is to give the poem a pleasing music and melody.
